An important note about me: I like to make lists.  Grocery lists, to-do lists, music-to-download lists….I think I just really like crossing things off.  Sometimes I write down something I’ve already done just so I can cross it out!  Seriously.  Apparently I derive too much satisfaction out of such a stupid way to track productivity.

So at Christmas I decided to make my love of lists a little more worthwhile (Another note about me, I never really learned how to use a comma.  Just saying…).  Inspired by a friend, I made one of my 2012 resolutions to keep track of every book I read for the whole year.  Until now, I’ve been writing about them in my diary, but that was never what it was meant for.  And unfortunately my Excel spreadsheet that houses my list isn’t really conducive to long-winded comments.  So my book reviews need a new home!

I also just wanted to make it known here, although I’m certain it’s extremely obvious, that my internet presence has so far been limited to Facebook and a couple of re-tweets on Twitter.  I’m a little out of my depth with this whole blogging concept.  So if I’m fortunate enough to have ANYONE actually reading this, please forgive my rough start.  Not only will I eventually master the art of the blog, but I may just learn how to bend it to my will. Muwahahahaha?
